After the sale of the Bradley, James met with the partners of New England Development to present the office building on the other side of the street. This property was owned by a friend, who confidentially informed James of his plans to sell the property.
James entered into discussions directly with New England Development, while the seller chose to have an experienced and knowledgeable commercial broker, MIchael Walters, represent them. Mr.Walters and James negotiated and closed the $10,200,000 sale of the property in February of 2019. The office building, which has 50 subterranean parking spots, was redeveloped into a restaurant office mixed use property. After the renovations were completed, the property was sold for over $23,000,000, less than two years after James's client paid $10,200,000.
